Digital Paint is simply making use of a digital media to paint instead of more traditional media such as oils or acrylics. In my case, I preter to use Photoshop 7 and a Wacom Intuos 3 (9x12) to paint with. Typically I start with a rough pencil sketch, scan it, and dig in. Depending on the job and style required the painting may take on a more realistic feel or a cartooned comic book type look. A lot of my work up to this point has been transitional from Pencil and Ink to now producing a great deal more Digital work. |
