*A page of Concept Art
typically includes a single landscape, 4-5
figures, 8-10 items, or
2-3 structures.
**Illustrations are typically
priced out by page coverage size. A
1/4 page illustration
is a simple image of roughly
4" x 5", a 1/2
page illustration will
typically be about 8.5" wide
x 5" tall, or 4" wide x 11" tall, and a full
page illustration is printer paper
sized.
***Depending on complexity
of the image prices may vary. Starting prices assume a detailed central object/character and a decently represented background or setting. Adding large objects or characters that require detailed work will raise the cost of the image accordingly. The difference between Cover Art and Digital Paintings comes down to polish of the image and details.
***Cartoons can vary widely by style and complexity of linework as well as color or not. Likewise, Murals and Graphic Design are equally difficult to describe and are best dealt with on a case by case scenario rather than a catch all category.
